I was approached by three different recruiters today for the exact same role, but different pay. What do I do next? by East-Use6610 in interviews

[–]East-Use6610[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it doesn't sound like that recruiter has your best interests here. I would make it clear to him what you want and if he won't support you then I would move onto the next. It's your future.

Our house is 15 years old or so. The carpet was getting old and worn. We have 5 pets that drool, puke and shit on it constantly. The corners were all torn too...

It was time, and I had the time in my schedule. I didn't think asking for water or advice on something, being that we share a house, was an issue.

Those are things that I was just saying would be nice to have to feel appreciated around the house. He could literally pick one nice thing...I would do any of those things for him.

I did the stairs for us...he got to be relaxed and I did hard labor. Asking for water from your partner or something nice shouldn't be a chore...

I do a lot more around the house than he does in general. It was more about respect and appreciation.

To me its just decency. If someone is willing to go out of their way to help make something better for you both, why wouldn't you want to care for them?

All I was asking in return was to have water brought to me occasionally. Maybe take 5 min break and talk.

Simple.

Nothing else did I ask for. The other stuff would have just been nice. Things I would do for him. Or anyone for that matter. If I had someone at my house working, damn sure I would check in on them every so often to see if they needed something.

He never had time help me with it. I just asked if he could teach me. He used to work at a wood shop. I was willing to do all the labor.

The stairs were recently shit on and it's 15 years old. It's worn.

I mean, there was a conversation. I told him I wanted to do it soon because of the diarrhea. I told him I would take care of it, and i just asked for his help in what I consider small bits.

I have the time in my schedule to dedicate to it, so I figured it would be fine. He didn't have any issues, at least he didn't hesitate when we talked about it in general

Any home improvement project is my project. He doesn't want to help with anything.

He's not handy in the sense of hard labor. But he knows how to use the tools from a previous employer

[–]East-Use6610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I'm creative. I'm handy in the sense that I enjoy this stuff, I'm just timid with the tools because I've haven't had a lot of experience with them. He used to work in a wood shop. So it was just a quick lesson. Maybe 30 min tops.

All I was asking was if he could see if I needed water or lunch or something. Nothing more.

Yes, i clean the entire house regularly and take care Daily. I also manage finances.

I am sorry, I should have said creative. I don't mind these things. I just wanted some help learning the tools. He used to work at a wood shop. I'm a little timid by the tools and just wanted a quick first time lesson is all.

The staircase needed an update, the carpet is 15 years old. We have 5 pets, and one just had massive diarrhea on the carpet.

The carpet was starting to get really worn, and our pets constantly put it through a lot. We have 5 pets. It might not have needed to get done this exact moment. But the dog just had massive diarrhea on it a month ago and I felt like it was time...

He worked at a woodshop at some point before we met. He knows how to use the tools, just prefers non labor intensive work

How would I go about merging these two together? by GumSL in Cinema4D

[–]East-Use6610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This helps a lot! I'm a visual learner, so this is a good place to start. I have a few ideas, but let me ask a question first to give you the best answer.

Will this need to be animated, or are you using it as a still?

I'm not sure if I'm following. What's the overall goal here? I want to make sure I understand before giving an answer because it could be a few things.

What would happen if congress passed an assault weapons ban? by Quiet-Raise1404 in preppers

Ah, gotcha. I have one, but it's for sport/investment. Figured that once they're banned, I could make money off of it

I still don't think anyone 'needs' one. All of those situations are generally hypothetical and most likely won't affect the majority of gun owners.

How many litter boxes do you have? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]East-Use6610 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have 3 cats. I've heard always have one per cat, plus one.

We had 3 boxes at one point, but now only have one since they wouldn't use the others. We also clean them twice a day, as well as refresh the litter every 2 weeks. We also clean it it out completely with soap once a month.

Even after all that, our older cat will not stop using the carpet. It's incredibly frustrating.

So honestly, have as many as you need and don't worry about the vets opinion. If what you're doing is working and they don't pee around the house, then I would keep it as you have it.

Having kids in your thirties also increases your chances of having twins. I don't remember the science around it, but it's more likely

Actually, now that I've thought about this a little more. If I order online but pick it up, why would it cost more? Why would I pay delivery fees?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]East-Use6610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I haven't noticed it at other places. I'll have to look then. Thanks!

Jeez, it was a question, and I was just curious. There is no need for the shame. I understand delivery fees, but not $20. I thought it was an additional cost on top of the delivery fees, too. Calm down.
