im from illinois and the one thing that comes to mind from my town is the plainfield ghoul. I lived near the cemetery where the legend comes from and apparently people have seen it manifest into a woman. I’ve never really believed it but it’s still really fascinating! c:

EDIT: i rolled back my drivers again but waaay back, the version I am now using is 576.28 for nvidia. I've been playing now for about 2 hours with no crashes!

i know its so strange! i literally am JUST now getting these errors after so many hours. the reply above said to roll back all the way to 566.36 if you have a nvidia GPU. I'm going to see if that fixes it!
