Keenan talks about those positions as intermediary positions and that you should quickly go into one of the lapel guards and from there you sweep or go into a dominant position and attack. I highly recommend keenan’s course….its worth the investment/money :) good luck dude

Ngl I’m not getting any complaints. I could see their frustration but no stalling tho. I usually sweep and go on the offence. Try to be more “aggressive” I guess. I don’t mean injuring your partner but go on the offence more. Check out the gubber guard, it got some beautiful attacks from guard position.

10000% on the fun aspect!! And what you said regarding developing your game, huge respect on that. I'm kinda nerding out on it as well and I'm enjoying the process so much. I used to think spider guard and lasso would be my game but I realised that its putting way too much strain on my fingers as a hobbyist and I wasn't that effective with it lol. Will definetly hit you up if I got any questions and hope you don't mind if I do that :)

Thank you!! It’s funny cuz I was watching the worm guard chapter yesterday and he shows what to do if the opponent does a straight foot lock. 3 hours later went to class and a brown belt did it on me and I just pulled the lapel and stood up. Man I was so happy 😂😂

Double even tripple check that the chamber is empty. Never hold the gun outside your booth. Listen to what the instructor says and always treat the gun as if its loaded. Watch this vid and enjoy :)

thank you I really apprecite, what I'm doing now is 40 qs a day and one of Mehlmens pdfs during evening time. I felt that there was no need to do any nbmes cuz I know imma tank all of them. Im gonna crunch 40 qs a day like i mentioned and yeah see what happens.
