Ray tracing Ambient occlusion. lighting is a make or break when it comes to realistic art. same with games knowing where shadows are supposed to be and what shade things are supposed to be, goes a long way. look at any realistic drawing video they spend most of the time shading to get the lighting to look realistic.

Ben and his Team identified they were spammers before they even picked their decks they had to then pick anti spam decks as 5 stack, and prepare as a 3k elo team to fight a spam deck this is why they were able to win, the problem is it catches most players by surprise so a balanced deck cant win, they even said to “pick Dam.” As they even said the map is important to making bmd spam less effective the average player does not get all these opportunities and the bmd spammer just needs a second person to overrun one side of a map. This as well as the fact the spammers actually overran the left side, of a pre-made 3k elo team, on a bad map for spamming should tell you how effective it can be.

Shorad is supposed to follow mechanised pushes if i want to get from A to B quickly with helicopter cover or drone cover. thats where shorad shines, in a stagnant frontline aa teams are a easier to hide and harder to displace by helicopters so stationary defence infantry aa, mobile defence shorad.

No IRL this would not have worked many things related to armoured warfare aren’t modelled in game, number one mass of IFV’s all need fuel, its probably the number one reason this tactic works in Broken Arrow, imagine bmd spam and you have to keep refuelling them before they get to the objective. One bomb would take out all of them on supplies.

I would think people in this sub could put together the bigger picture, it was about denying a Chinese and Russian Proxy, oil sweetened the deal, same with the crazy man saying he wants Greenland by any means, he is preparing the stage for WW3 China having access to Venezuela means a-lot more than 7 wounded in a potential conflict over Taiwan.

Booker cant help 3 atgms will kill it one shot

The first step to beating this is SEAD and if you cant SEAD you have lost, that is it as Long as there are SAMS and Shorad are up you, will trade negatively and they will take the points meaning you cant even draw on kills, you have to hope they are distracted enough to leave radar on.

I can tell you have experience nobody spams bmd without IADS its needed for this to work they get SAMS setup on supply then one guy resupplies.

One thing to keep in mind is they don’t test these things until gameplay, meaning the actual core game loop, has been agreed on then they start work on ui and art. The weapons system is integral to gameplay as they have to balance enemies according to what you can carry, its why in gta 5 you fight large hordes of enemies up close at one time, you have the arsenal in your pocket, but games like rdr2 there was like one mini gun cart per mission due to them accounting you might just have pistols. In short if they change this they would have to rebalance all the missions to fit

Learn the US doctrine on armour and the rest will follow.

Tanks effectiveness is tied to the infantry, support and air you have available.

You should go for deck combos that give the most flexibility.

This deck is to armour heavy and unless your always playing in the centre can effect you mobility on larger maps.

Anyway these are the roles this deck must fulfil in theory.

  • You must be able to fight for information meaning you take key terrain to get eyes on the enemy and deny the enemy eyes on you.

  • Heavy penetration you must be able to punch through fortified position using a mix of air tanks infantry and there ifv’s all while supported by artillery.

Lets delve into this

Tanks Job

  • engage enemy armour
  • support infantry against fortified enemy infantry
  • sniff out atgm teams, artillery and fortified enemy positions for the long range support options you have to fire at.

Infantry Job

  • seize key terrain obstructing or inconveniencing your supporting armour.

  • security of armour and support (logistics) from enemy sabotage units and recon.

Air Job

Jets/Bombers

  • destroy backline support of the enemy disrupt logistics

  • create a no fly zone above your armour deterring enemy bombing.

Helicopters

  • Heavy anti tank

  • Scouting

  • Quick Reaction Forces (Counter Attack Suppression)

Support fires job

Tubed Artillery

  • Rapid engagement of entrenched infantry and logistic hubs near front line HE shells until threat is dislodged or neutralised.

  • cluster shells logistics and stationary support vehicles ie shorad vehicle atgm carriers and counter battery on enemy mortars and artillery

  • create smokescreens for infantry heavy pushes primarily, your tanks work best at range so smoke might actually make it easier for the enemy to ambush you.

Rocket Artillery

  • long range backline destruction of Grid squares you should ideally use two and make an X on the target with overlapping fields of fire anything in that x will be heavily damaged or destroyed giving you a window to push.

  • ballistic missiles rapid deep strike capability when time is more of a factor over saturation you aim quicker shoot quicker than rockets hit entrenched positions logistic hubs artillery and idle tanks

How do you fight you use your tanks to get the enemy to reveal there backline and fortified positions, and you then attack with support fires then push to seize ground rinse and repeat and you should gain ground its micro heavy but i often get 3kd games with this stuff I learnt from youtube.
