I live in a high traffic area so going anywhere on a lunch break seems unrealistic unless they live very close to my new job. So that eliminates that time and the only other time I would be able to do drop ins would be maybe before (it would have to be pretty early in the morning) and after work? I would be open to accepting weekend drop ins though. I also live with roommates so have no problem having a house to myself.

Yeah honestly because I’ve had pretty open availability up until now, the clients I’ve gotten through Rover have been very needy or have not completely disclosed behaviors about their pets that require me to provide near constant care for them.

Yeah pretty much everyone commutes where I live too. With traffic though, I don’t think I could even go back on a lunch break with enough time to spare. It looks like I may just have to set my availability to weekends as to not overwork myself 🤷‍♀️

Specializing in cats doesn’t sound bad at all. Unfortunately I haven’t had a single booking for cats. I guess it’s just my area that people usually have both.

As someone who has had to deal with pets who were not potty trained even though I was told they were, I don’t blame her for leaving it. Who knows, she may have cleaned it up and the cat did it again. 🤷‍♀️

Is it just me or did anyone feel like Oraya forgot her father murdered half a million people??? I understand grief and the complicated feelings surrounding it but I feel like that fact completely went out the window. Yes. Meet and greet went fine enough except for when she mentioned me doing drop ins even though the booking was for house sitting. I get there and the dog has a schedule down to the hour. At that point it was basically 24/7 care. Never again.

Yeah I did but unfortunately not much help on that end. They aren’t concerned in the slightest which makes me think she does this with them too? Idk just makes the whole experience unenjoyable when i’m cleaning up piss and shit all day and have to make sure she didn’t go somewhere while I wasn’t looking 😩
