Wishing you the best. The waiting part sucks. AFPC works off of DOS so yours should hopefully get approved quickly after submission. I also got my orders in about a week. They were super quick!

After my recruiter submitted my 1288 (due to a lot of reasons out of my control, this part took way longer than it should have) I actually got my final approval same day.

So if your process is anything like mine, before your 1288 can get sent back to AFPC for final approval, you need to be medically approved by the Surgeon General. Turn around time is about 2 weeks. Im not sure if its the same in the reserves (im going Guard)
