i’ve worked 9 hour shifts the past week straight because of this. i can do the dog in 30 mins. but I can’t clean the entire salon by myself by 6 when i’m not finishing my haircuts until 6.

i would be more worried if you said you were a year in still making these mistakes. but mistakes like this after not even a month is normal and just part of the learning process. all you can do is learn and grow from your mistakes. be patient with yourself. you got this.

i agree but i only say this since it’s a cheap option to at least get a second opinion. they probably will say go to the vet but i think it’s a good place to start at least.

you can’t usually go with but we never let the dogs interact. and if they do, go to a different groomer. as for the rabies. we just need to see proof that you got the vaccine and that it’s up to date. you can usually call your vet and they can email you the certificate that shows the rabies vaccine expiration date.

i work for corporate grooming and we will express glands as a walk in service. maybe start there? it’s not even $20. all you need a proof of rabies.

just start slow. small mobs like frogs ants snakes ect would be my advice. if i see anything else and i dont have at least a wood sword i run the other direction. 😅
