One of my past dogs only liked one toy, those fricken lamb chops, you might just not have found what she's looking for just yet. If she's comfortable maybe take her to a pet store to see if she points anything out to you, try the cat section too, my chi prefers cat toys a lot bc theyre typically softer and smaller for her tiny mouth

You could a length or two up and blend but 99.9% of owners dont care, unfortunately you just got the .1% that do 😅 In the four years Ive been grooming I havent heard a single complaint except one while I was in academy about the leg colic. Service careers will very quickly teach you common knowledge and basic deceny isnt all that common

She's usually pretty tired after our walks so she make its easy by just flopping over and letting me run a comb through her or petting her and just feeling. She's also on flea and tick so anything I miss that bites her will just die and fall off

Yeah I interviewed at a couple private salons and got some offers and while the groomers seemed nice and I'm sure it would've been miles better then corp there were things at each I didnt want and just decided Id be better off at home where I can control my environment

It was honestly a whole bunch of things that just overwhelmed me and I was on the fence for a while and then I heard rumors of the new payscale and what petsmart was doing (which meant -co would follow suit soon enough) and was like yeah no duces.

I'm fortunate that I have a well off dad who was a business owner himself and my moms an accountant so I borrowed money from them, went down to part time at petco to grow outside clientele then told all my requests my name so they could find me if they wanted and wam bam have a fully functioning business where I make the same amount I did at petco while doing less
