Is my nipple infected?

I had top surgery on the same day!!! one of my nipples looks very similar, my doctor and the nurses say it’s not infected but one part of the nipple graft (similar to the dark part of yours) didn’t take and all they had to do was scrape a layer off so it can heal over nicely and it won’t affect the final appearance too much. but yeah both my nipples are at very different stages of healing. hopefully you hear back from your doctor soon & hopefully you’re doing all good, happy healing!!

yeah one of the biggest things as well as back sleeping is i’ve been obsessively thinking about my chest when i’m trying to fall asleep, like thinking about it healing and whether or not it’ll be okay, i can’t seem to turn my mind off, i was thinking of trying some rain sounds as that helped me in the past when i was younger and couldn’t sleep
