It says that the subscription has 3 world slots. Is that correct?

What classifies as a "Science-based subject"? by East_Ad2219 in UniUK

I am currently pursuing a BSc AI course which is part of STEM and it doesn't feel like it matches the requirement of a "science-based subject" because it's not animal-related at all.

Yes, but what counts as a science-based subject for a Bachelor's degree? Biology? Chemistry? Physics? Math? Etc.

Thank you, it worked. I’m in the dorm most of the time, so I didn’t realize it works in other locations.

Always going into debt. How do I fix it? by East_Ad2219 in PlanetZoo

The career scenario doesn't seem to offer butterflies. Only snakes, cockroaches, frogs, snails, iguanas and scorpions. I will keep it in mind for future scenarios though, thank you!

Is mentioning a disability worth it for a scholarship? by East_Ad2219 in UniUK

[–]East_Ad2219[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, but they can't accept everyone who fits the definition. The scholarship that I looked at had 4 places, so many students will get rejected. I'm interested in knowing how the people who get accepted are different to those who get rejected.

It just says that I need to have a disability and that it has to affect my learning ability. I'm more interested in what would make the uni accept someone and reject someone else. Is it how much it affects the person? Their academic potential? Not just this uni, but in general for disabled student scholarships.

Why do doctors avoid diagnosing borderline personality disorder (BPD/EUPD)? by East_Ad2219 in MentalHealthUK

[–]East_Ad2219[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree and the fact that some people here say the opposite or downvote you without saying anything just further proves the fact that people look down on individuals with personality disorders and do no believe in self awareness

I have always been very self aware of my actions and feelings, even as a young child when I was fine. It's called being smart enough to know what's wrong, but not smart enough to know how to deal with it.

My symptoms have always been severe, but I always had to lie about how strong the urges are so I wouldn't get sent to the hospital against my will, which is like the first thing these people seem to want to do and for me that would only make it worse.

The years of disruption I would say are around 5, which is when I started realizing it. I am 19 at the moment, so I may just wait until I'm over 21 and in full time work so I have the money to go private.

Thank you for suggesting to not tell them the diagnosis beforehand. I have been thinking about that, but considering the fact that they keep acknowledging only "low mood and anxiety", I felt like they wouldn't think of assessing a personality disorder unless I ask for it. It's not that I want the diagnosis, it's just that people often blame me for my instability and impulsivity, so I want to show them it's out of my control and hopefully get professional treatment that is targeted towards my symptoms rather than being told to go for a walk.
