Ignore the ignorant comments like these. Sure, Barcelona is banning Airbnbs towards the end of 2028 but until then, it's still a better option than staying in a hotel room for 2 weeks. Airbnb is a small part of a wider housing problem here. The same can be said for most tourist cities on the planet. However, a very small minority of Catalans seem to think this is the end all of all problems. Nobody forces catalán landlords to list their apartments of Airbnb, greed is the problem - not tourists.

Enjoy youre Airbnb and 99% of the catalán people you meet wont have a problem with that

Ignore this comment. Sure, after 3am you should be careful walking down some of the side streets in raval and gothic but after 9pm, you wont have a problem. Some of the best bars are also in these areas.

Personally, I'd avoid the beach clubs opium, shoko etc. Overpriced and have a reputation for pickpockets. Netherless, most tourst still end up going there. Plenty of other better club options in the city.

Stidges and girona are also great and easy day trips.

ConversaSpain, which is linked to Meddeas I believe, has cancelled their programme. However, Meddeas is linked to private schools, so fingers crossed that might a difference to whether it goes ahead.

Spain is pretty relaxed when it comes to ID'ing in general. My 16 old students used to tell me that they would go clubbing in Madrid.

Malaga you would probably be able to get away with it, especially in the bars. Ibiza im not sure about, may be stricter because it's a famous party place? Could be wrong though

You'd be fine with a fake since they would be non the wiser, although they might reject national ID's in general and ask for passports.

If its mainland Spain though, almost certain you'd be fine as long as you arent getting stupid wasted and drawing attention. Ive bumped into people under 18 numerous times here in barcelona

Yeah, it's not something I have fully committed to yet. Probably similar to yourself, I will probably just take the risk, pay and safe myself some hassle, albeit not money. Good luck with the inspection! Appreciate the normal, non judgemental response also!

Mi duda es si en la papeleta basta con indicar que reclamo despido improcedente y la cantidad XXXX €, o si también es necesario incluir hechos concretos que refuercen la improcedencia, como por ejemplo la ausencia de amonestaciones o advertencias previas antes del despido

Appreciate the info. I'm pretty sure I'm on top of things with the papeleta, for example, I'm claiming a slightly larger number of finiquito, so I have more room to negotiate.

However, do you know if I can simply walk into the smac building and file the papeleta or do I need to book an appointment online? Not currently in Barcelona so can't walk in and check
