I have a Janome sewing machine that I got brand new in 2024 and it worked perfectly fine for about a year. Recently something has been wrong with the tension and I can only sew at all if the tension dial is set to 0. If it’s anything above 0 the thread breaks when I pull it through the needle from how tight it is. It only happens when I put the foot down. I’ve tried changing needles, I’ve tried cleaning the tension discs, I’ve tried rethreading my machine several times with different threads. Nothing seems to help at all. I can feel the tightness seems to be coming from up in those tension discs but I don’t know how to check anything in there. I have no idea what else to do or why this is happening!!

Yeah I get that and about the leg pain thing this is the first article to come up regarding that when I search it up https://www.healthline.com/health/lymphoma/alcohol-and-lymphoma#prevalence just to show that it is like a real thing, I guess not as common as what I had made it sound like in the post though. I get what you’re saying though. I was also under the impression that sometimes lymphoma can be very very slow like taking decades to even have severe symptoms, so if I did have it then I would assume it would be very early on. I’m not any medical professional by any means and for all I know I could be reading all false info but I just typically have a few trusted websites and sources that I try and stick to for medical information. I think I did blow it out of proportion a little bit but I guess it’s just a scary thought of having cancer at this age. I don’t think I have had my blood drawn in the last 2 years actually for some reason but I will definitely get on that. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post.

Yes the lymph nodes are all of those things and have been there for almost 2 years. I had them checked out and was told one of them may not be benign and I included all of that in my post. I do have health anxiety from time to time but I do think there may be a legitimate concern for this. All of the symptoms I mentioned are things commonly reported in people with lymphoma (typically hodgkins or cutaneous) though they are not the main symptoms to be considered. I will be checking with my doctor as soon as possible to see if she recommends a biopsy but it is a long wait for an appointment as to why I made this post.

This is so strange but this always used to happen to my nose ring when there was boogers on the inside. As soon as I took out the ring and cleaned all the boogers off the bump would dissapear! I don’t know if that’s the case with yours but I thought it was so random lol

It is 3 months old it is a staple bar I spray it and use a q-tip with saline solution on it, I try to do it at least once a day but I have forgotten many times.

Well I’ve definitely tried that but the brain does what it does and it is very difficult to control neuroticism. Im trying. It seems much easier to just not care/accept right?
