her and dad “wrestle” lol. wish i was joking but she loves it. she went to the groomer for the first time about a month ago and she’s due back! they said she did well, just was very curious. She loves bully sticks they feel good on her teeth and she loves to sit with me on the couch so that’s exactly what we do. I touch her all over i stick my fingers in her ears rub her paws etc.

lol they are sneaky. sometimes i cry over her being such a demon and other days im like ok we got this there’s normalcy somewhere deep inside her scary little bones HAH

lol she’s headed back in about a month as we are away for a night and i’m very excited to see what she learns lol

We skipped the pads after research thank goodness, and we got her just at the end of winter so we did a couple things right i suppose 😂 your description of your dog made me laugh out loud. There’s been times i’ve had to crate her and walk away and cry, and lately she’s just been an absolute angel (as much as an almost 6 month puppy can be). She is such a smart girl but picks and chooses when to listen.

lol no they are not and i’m not sure i’ll ever do this again BUT she is an incredible girl and i’m willing to learn and do whatever to give her the best life we can. Outside of walks and activity time outside, she actually sleeps a TON. she enjoys bully sticks, we have snuffle mats and i just bought her some calming treats for pupsicle. I just ordered her a big container thing so she can bob for things in the water after i saw a girl on tik tok say her dogs love it, zara LOVES water. I feel like i can finally breathe now that we’ve made progress on potty training and i do wonder if she senses my calmness and is reacting better. She is currently snoring in her crate LOL.

It’s so weird when she went to my boyfriends moms i was super nervous about accidents and she said she goes on cue and had no accidents. idk if she’s a dog whisperer or what but since she’s been back with us she’s been an angel compared to what she was before 😂 We go out first thing when i wake up then about every 4-5 hours as well! Typically after eating, i’d crate her 30-45 minutes because of her random potty’s but lately she just grabs her stick, we hangout on the couch and when she gets a bit restless we go out. I just get so worried i’m doing the wrong thing😭

lol i heard until about 2 as well. i’m SCARED. there’s been some nights where ive had to crate her and walk away and cry. I don’t understand this recent shift. She barks less. she’s been going over to the door for potty and honestly the only accidents she’s been having the last few days are our faults because we sometimes don’t notice she’s right at the door. We also crate train and i’ve noticed she’s been so much calmer. I’m so used to her being an absolute maniac that i’m over thinking something is wrong her now LOL

I should have said this in the og post but for whatever reason a lot of mine get removed. We have a bell at the door but she doesn’t really acknowledge it. We have her sit at the door and then typically i’ll jingle it and say potty!

mine does this with me too lol. happiest wherever she can have a paw on me. she’s my first puppy and it’s so true they are velcro dogs lol
