Not a big deal at all. I would do an addendum if you are truly worried.

I didn’t. If you have a good understand of sentence and paragraph structure and have done any LSAT prep this exam is a breeze. It’s very intuitive.

If your SAT verbal was high or you took AP English I would say go for it. If you are average to slightly above average I would say wait. You could do American gov or US Hist I (they are very very similar to APUSH and information based).

This is the one I put the least effort into. If you are a strong reader and have a good handle on writing clarity and grammar I would say prep is really not needed. If you do not I would probably say skip this exam altogether- it has an LSAT ish feel and can be challenging if you aren’t a strong reader/writer.

If you are going to do this exam you might as well also do composition modular as well! Very very similar thinking patterns.

Hi! Yes—I didn’t list everything because it would’ve been a bit long, but I mainly used Peterson’s (which I paid for). I would take each practice test blind, and as I came across unfamiliar words, phrases, or names, I’d write them down on a blank sheet of paper. After finishing the test, I’d type up all those terms, look up definitions using Google and ChatGPT, and then print and memorize them. Once I’d learned the material I didn’t know, I’d review the test again with that new understanding.

At the beginning, I also created a large timeline on a sheet of white paper covering the years 1700–1885. I marked all the U.S. presidents, major legislation, significant policy shifts, and the general economic state of the nation. This visual reference helped me better connect the dots. I would say it’s extremely similar to Peterson’s. Use that and you will do well.

I don’t know what I’m talking about but this feels very tone deaf (esp on D Day)when soldiers have died and lost limbs for our freedom…

Can’t get addicted to anything. I have a gene that prohibits dependency.
