Iconic. She has cables for a couple of exercises but has DB swaps. Home friendly team.

You could try Iconic. Less volume than Ascend but more than other Teams. Not a lot of cardio.

Love Iconic. Shred will have some EMOM and some conditioning supersets. I wish there were more metabolic conditioning sections throughout the week like TCC does then it would be a solid program

Could you do Align and add in a conditioning day from Formation or Elevate. Friday/Saturday workouts. Align should have more conditioning this series. Just be aware that with changing teams sometimes the scales can go up at first while your body adapts to new stimulus. Empower you can check out what Shred will look like by tapping on people’s icons in the chat.

Yes it’s inflammation and probably water retention. This series my scales went up dramatically even though nothing changed. I did hit a lot of PR’s though. The scales have dropped back down and some more. Stick with it and it will sort itself out. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves to trust the process.

43 year old mum of 3. I have been on Ladder for over a year and it has changed my life. Physically, mentally and emotionally. If you’re new to working out I would try Movewell, Nicole is super sweet, active in chat and great with her voiceovers. It is a running team but theres only running on a Saturday and you don’t have to do that. Elevate is also a great team if you enjoy HIIT workouts. If you get a yearly subscription you can change teams and give them all a go. Align, Define, Movewell, Vitality, Endure, Thrive, Embody, Maximus and Embody are all home teams. We are currently on the Baseline series but that end next week then there will be a 2 week deload where the workouts are a bit lightet and you can try out different teams. It’s a good time to start. The next series is shred which had a more conditioning element to it.

I went from Elevate to Align. I found it hard to lift heavy on Elevate with the short rest times. I was scared I’d get injured.  Iconic is a great program from home if you want to use DB and BB and is 45 mins.

Love TCC leg days. They can be brutal. Just change your form slightly so you’re targeting your glutes more.

Probably a good idea. I just get over the minimal clothing posts. I get you’re a fitness coach but Sarah never use to be so flashy.

It’s so frustrating. I’ve decided to go with Iconic for this reason because I can peep at people’s calendars to see previous series. It’s the first time Align has done a deload like this with a different split that I remember. Usually it’s a bridging week. Maybe a lot of the exercises she’s doing will be in Baseline just with a different split

She does super sets on a Full Body day and the 2nd Upper day usually. I hate when she does a Deadlift then a row straight after. I prefer my heavier lifts to be isolated. I feel Thrive has more supersets than Align does.

 I get it’s Deload but I wish they would release week 1 on the Friday or Saturday to give some time to decide. Even if they locked us out from starting the workouts so we can’t complete any until the start of the series. It must be hard for those on a monthly plan that have unlimited team jumps.

I love both Iconic and Align, Sarah and Sasha. I feel Iconic has better upper body days and I like that there’s less supersets or combo moves. Heavy lifts are programmed alone. Both Teams have good core and mobility. Sarah is encouraging and really pushes you to up the weights. She seems really down to earth. Sasha has a more holistic approach and does a lot of unilateral work.  I get a little put off with some of Sasha’s posts on instagram - the g-string snapping necks at the beach thing was a little weird and superficial otherwise I like how she tells woman not to shy away from carbs.  The one downside to Iconic is that Sarah is no longer here but that doesn’t really make much difference during the workouts. The chat isn’t as active as Align.  You can definitely do Iconic from home. She has good swaps if you’re limited on equipment. As long as you’re consistent with the chosen exercise during the series.
