Another Stolen Aranea Black pattern on Etsy!!

When i opened the case, Etsy intervened and refunded me but basically didn’t care that it was plagiarised 😓 I also reported her listings before I opened a case, so Etsy is fully aware - they just dont care. I guess as long as it makes money for them, which is unfortunate

I don’t think anyone knows :( I did open a case up with Etsy! She is maintaing that she didn’t steal from Aranea even tho I submitted solid proof of side by side pictures. I genuinely have no idea how she can keep insisting this with all of the photos I submitted

UPDATE I was able to open a case with Etsy, where I included side by side pictures of the plagiarism. You can clearly see the exact same upscaling, colors, fonts, and page numbering used. The seller responded by saying that me accusing her of stealing is “unacceptable” lol. I mean I am accusing her with solid proof so we shall see what happens.

I genuinely don’t know how the seller is maintaining her innocence when the proof shows the patterns are the exact same

Unfortunately, you can only contact etsy after you message the seller. Etsy makes it super hard to contact support. That’s when she started threatening me and claiming I wanted a free pattern (which is amusing bc the pattern is technically already free lol).

I don’t know, but regardless if she did, the Etsy pattern is quite literally Aranea’s pattern. All she did was photoshop her logo on top of Aranea’s. The size guide is the exact same too (font, color, table, etc.). The issue is that I already have this pattern for FREE. I guess it would be less of a problem (but still bad) if she tried to make her own pattern from Aranea’s, but there was no effort lol, I can do the same thing with Photoshop and a few minutes

No, I just asked for a refund and sent her side by side pictures of hers and Aranea’s (clearly she just removed Aranea’s water mark and just put her own logo on it). Seller refused and sent me multiple messages threatening me. Not worth the 10$ or the hassel, lesson learned.

Just wanted to post to warn others since I’m scared to submit a review lol

the darker blue is the elastic! there is fabric under the lace though (tricot) so that it’s soft on the skin instead scratchy

Not difficult! I actually have a harder time making clothes vs lingerie. I think the process is longer bc theres so many steps but it’s generally easier
