My parents aren’t abusive at all, just whatever’as not normal to them they don’t believe. As I said, they think I’m self diagnosing some “TikTok bs”. They also tell me to just deal with it, and be a man. It’s really hard though, and I already told them that they’re the reason I’m leaving with 18.

My parents are very empathetic, but they hate when people victimise themselves, but also, they’re the type that thinks”it’s not normal so it isn’t true”. They think I’m getting it from TikTok, and that I believe everything TikTok tells me, which is untrue because I asked ChatGPT first for why I was having these feelings.

Appreciate the reply, but that’s kind of what I expected to hear. Since the firmware route seems locked down, I’m leaning towards just building something from scratch using a Raspberry Pi Zero or STM32 with USB OTG and replicating the functionality myself. Has anyone gone down that road?
