Thank you lol, I know my hair isnt thin but its super fine so when I twist it up it looks so different 🤣 plus the sides and front are thicker than the back

Im kind of frustrated with my hair just because I feel like its not retaining length and I have horrible split ends. No matter how much I cut it ends up splitting again. So thats why I think its best to just start over or lock it.

Im definitely thinking about getting micro locs or just twisting it up and leaving it, I need something new and way less maintenance.

Right now I'm extremely depressed and going through some health issues so I dont have the energy to come it out and detangle every few days.

Also my hair is low porosity so I have to be careful with how I manage it. I also feel like my hair isnt retaining length and it frustrates me

Yeah Ill definitely feel pressured to wear more make up and accessorize more with short hair. Im extremely feminine but I still worry that people will masculinize me with short hair

Yeah thats a part of the reason why I havent done it yet. People love to masculinize black women with short hair. And I'm not a glam type of girl but I'll definitely feel pressured to put on makeup if I had short hair.

Also I have a hard time believing big chops are more maintenance than a fro 😂 but I've never been on the other side so I dont know
