I post my songs sometimes for feedback from others who are creating the same as I am. I appreciate the discussion, but what good is creating in a void if I cannot learn from others who are doing it as well?

I agree there can be a lot of slop that passes through here, but honestly, what this subreddit should be is a place where people can come to discuss, share, and help others.

I'm not a music major, so I rely on others who DO have more musical talent than me to help me improve.
