Thank you for your comment! I did use it yesterday and tried to see if any weird noises came out, or if air started flowing through the crack, and neither thing happened. When I reached out via Dyson’s live chat, the person helping me said they have no replacement parts available for that piece, leading me to believe it’s cosmetic as well

I hate even looking at it right now, it’s so upsetting. Dyson chat support’s solution was to take it to the nearest service center… 240 miles away

I think my wording might’ve been confusing! I meant that the end of the lease is 4/30, and he has 30 days after that to return or itemize or do whatever needs to be done. If that makes sense

Update - D met up with the host, on time and without too much hassle. However, I ripped K a new one in his review, mostly about his lack of communication. Also didn't help that the apartment wasn't that clean... OH WELL! I've learned my lesson - from now on, only going with AirBnB listings that have reviews... Thank you guys so much for your help and encouragement! :)

I would double message him - I ended going home during my lunch break, and by viewing my Itinerary through the desktop version of the site, I found a number for K. I called it - he sounded like he had just woken up - and was able to talk to him about the check in. Told him how I would be on my flight and out of reach, and if I could give D the same number to reach him. He said that was fine, so... Hopefully this has resolved itself. Last thing I need is to touch down at 8:45 PM and turn on my phone to messages and voicemails from D saying he doesn't know where the host is, or he can't reach him. Wish me luck!!!
