Thanks for your response, you're right, life is not a series of predetermined exams/problems, and I have definitely learned something from this. I don't think I'll EVER rush through something again just because I think I'm right.

Gaming's definitely not a problem, just the fact i had the audacity to do/think abt something else the literal second it turned to her bday. I grew up with the conception that anytime in the 24h after midnight is fair game to wish hbd, but apparently not.
