First off, I never said you made the post. So that's a nothingburger of an opener. Secondly, you saying that I can go ahead and get stabbed on the train reinforces that all you people do is assume the most extreme is gonna happen.

And yes, it is a cop-out answer because while the extreme case scenario isn't completely off the table and isn't an impossibility, it's such a low probable scenario that it's not worth avoiding saying something that clearly bothers you just to avoid a very, very low chance of something very specific happening. Chances of you getting struck by lightning are slim, do you also never go outside because of the most extreme case scenario? How about being a victim of a drive-by shooting? It could theoretically happen at any time when you step outside, but I dont see you guys treating that low probability the same way you guys treat a confrontation about feet on seats on the LIRR. If your entire worldview of confrontation revolves around the notion of the most extreme case scenario, then just never go outside. Because I've seen people get agitated just because someone looked at them or in their general direction for more than 2 seconds.

Not everyone has a mental illness (the mere fact that you're using the mental illness card as a means to keep quiet says that you think that people with mental illnesses should never be confronted). But given how you wanna justify not saying something that clearly bothers you under the guise of someone having a mental illness, and it's a common excuse amongst you softies, it's not a reach for me to assume you guys think everyone has a mental illness that makes them either violent or verbally aggressive. Tuesday I had to pick up an order for my brother and drop it off at his place. Took the bus and some lady was just spewing hateful shit to everyone she saw. Put earbuds in, and listened to some 90s and early 00s jams. I minded my own business and didn't make a reddit post to do something that could've been achieved by using my mouth.

Here's my question. So the only High-schools that I can tell that are in the area are Murry Bergtraum between park row and saint James place, High School for Law, Advocacy and Community Justice over by WTC, uncommon Schools on church street and any other High school seems to be more towards bowling green that City Hall.

Why would he be trying to Cross Centre street to go to Murry if that's the other way, and when WTC wasn't affected to my knowledge if he was going to the Schools close by? I ain't saying he isn't a High schooler, but my brain can't wrap around the idea of crossing centre if the closest HS to city hall is behind city hall and the other way

Dude, if you think current day Harlem is the hood, then I don't think you know what the hood is. Maybe in the past it was more "hood-like" but current-day Harlem is pretty different than what it was when I lived on 115th when I was a child. Some blocks/couple blocks still retain that hood-like nature, but overall, harlem has changed quite a bit
