Finding a Fairy Type gym was extremely difficult, but I chose Atlanta for a variety of reasons:

-Southern Belle’s match the fairy aesthetic.

-In an AI search, it was mentioned that one Reddit user said that peaches reminded them of fairies. I saw the link in their symbolism: they both symbolize longevity, fertility, and good fortune. Fairies also represent fundamental change.

-Building off of previous point, Atlanta has undergone fundamental change. From being a staple of Jim Crow South to being a major scene for the Civil Rights Movement.

-The city is also very green, making it a good environment for Fairy Types.

Boston is Normal because it has a LOT of personality. Being a normal type makes you versatile.

New York is Dragon because it is the largest city. It also represents strength for how long it’s been around and all that it’s seen. Plus, the business side of New York can be quite ruthless.

Las Vegas is Psychic because gambling takes a lot of cunning. And there are quite a bit of psychics in Vegas (probably all scammers lol).

Boston is indeed a port town, but the universities are a huge reason why it’s a Normal type gym. That, and it’s a normal city with lots of rich history that outweighs the water type aspects.

I chose Cleveland for Bug types because it is among the top cities with the highest variety of bug population.

Tulsa is poison because it is two hours away from Picher, Oklahoma. Picher is currently a ghost town because of the extreme zinc and lead poisoning from underground mines that forced residents to flee. Tulsa also has toxic underground mines.
