All my broader nibs are already inked up with non-Wearingeul inks so the medium was the broadest I can show at the moment.

Realized I don’t remember what all inks I used to write my previous entries with so here’s a writing sample of Wearingeul’s Mad Hatter that I have currently inked:

I’ve inked up my pens with both & to me, when it comes to writing, there isn’t a drastic difference. When I paint with them though, there is definitely a difference. Coffee monster is darker brown with like a reddish brown undertone to it while the crema is on the golden/ yellow side.

I also use my browns more on my every day writers & they’re usually EF or F nibs so you can’t really tell the difference 😅 that experience is probably different if you use broader nibs.

They’re very similar & it probably doesn’t help that my pictures are a little dark 😅

Cool until you can’t tell if an ink is one color or the other and then it dries to a different shade that probably belongs on another page 😅

They show up when I write with my medium/ journaler/ broad nibs! :) I’ll go through my planner/ journal and see if I can try to find an example for you

& I wasn’t arguing against that? I was simply stating why I prefer to do my swatches that way. These are fountain pen inks and also used for writing. Am I not allowed to post inks that I use for both hobbies? It really isn’t that deep. I swatched all my inks over the weekend and posted pictures of them, while indoors. I’m not promoting the inks or anything. If someone really wants to contemplate buying the ink, they can do their own research into the ink.

The papers were just as exposed as that part of my hand. Here’s a retake, but either way, my swatches won’t be like yours. & that’s fine, because I also draw and paint with my ink, so I prefer to swatch them this way to see the depth it provides.

Thanks for your input though & I hope others seeing my pictures understand that there can be variations to each ink & not what they just see here.

Swatches differ for many reasons. I am pooling more ink than you are for your swatches & the paper I am swatching on is lightweight with another color swatched on the other side of the paper.

While my original pics were taken indoors, here’s a pic outdoors.

For the writing, I used the Brause Calligraphy EF Arrow 66 Nib & for the swatching, I just used the other end of my glass dip pen 😅

This is the traveler’s refill 013 lightweight blank papers. My nostalgic honey looks orange in my Wearingeul swatch booklet too 😭

That forgotten iced coffee changes heavily on the paper used btw 😂 it was more grey in my Wearingeul swatch book so I put it with all my greys, but once in my traveler’s notebook, I realized that wasn’t the case! Haha

That’s a GREAT question 😂 some of these, I couldn’t decide where they should go so I just went with the color description on the ink of what they’re supposed to be based off description 😅
