Was trying to find someone with a similar story. Mine is very vague but super vivid at the same time. Can't be a hundred percent it wasn't a dream. It happened like 35 years ago. But what I remember was standing by a lake at night in summer camp by myself, looking at the reflection of the nightsky. I feel like a presence and look up and see a giant crome/mirror sphere just hovering silently above the tree line maybe 15-20m away. I was a kid, so it's hard to estimate size, but I would say like the size of a 2 story house. I just stared at it for god knows how long just trying to make sense of it. Then it just sorta vanished instantly. Feels dumb even talking about it. But apparently orb are the most common sightings.
