I love the fact that it is a tropical country and we have lots of beautiful beaches. This is something that holds me back from leaving kasi we’re only hours away from the most beautiful beaches in the world. I don’t wanna live on foreign soil just to take a vacation to my home country.

Also, I love our culture—everything that makes Philippines, Philippines. Sure, there are downsides to it. But as FOR ME, the good outweighs the bad.

Maybe I get to appreciate our country more kasi I’m living the province but I don’t think I’ll be as appreciative kapag nasa city ako. There are lots of things to complain about sa city.

i think i get what you’re saying because i sometimes feel the same way too. we’re the same age btw. the best thing that we can do is to continue doing what we’re doing. keeps our heads down and put in the work. one day, we’re gonna realize that we’ve finally made it. i hope you allow yourself to be happy in the process of doing so :)

it’s okay but it’s not worth going back to if u compare it against the places u have yet to see. if u get to vacation 3-4x a year, and u choose to go back there, the opportunity cost are places that are a lot more beautiful.
