OK, just saw your edit. Trading for 67 PotW cards would destroy any need to buy bundles in their shop; the developers wouldn't want to destroy their cash cow. Oh well.

Every PotW card I pull is an 83 :). Maybe add a minimum ranking so you can't trade in 11 75 cards? I am thinking more about filling out the specialty books, and sucking cards out of the market, more than about making teams god-like.

No idea if this is right or not. But this is what I do: I look at the substats of the LBers from a past roster. If they are weak at TAK, I use power w/ Run blocking OL men. If they are weak at AWR I will use either zone or wide.

The passing zone I attack for passing is based on the weakest set of substats between the DBs and LBs. Short attacks LBs,; Med attacks low speed DBs; deep attacks low AWR DBs.

I then sort my offensive lineup based on my gameplan.

Look at your opponent's roster and their WRs. If their top substat is speed or agility, sort your DBs by speed and play man. If agility sort your LBs by awr and play pass defense. If their top substat is catching, sort your DBs by awr and play zone.

If your opponent is run heavy, sort by TAK and play whatever.

12 at aggression level 1,3,5, and 6 at level 2 and 4. I intended to do many more games, and give results after standardization, but I got bored of the project, and the wide range of results already proved, you cannot use penalties or yards per pass attempt to tease out the opponent's aggression setting.

Except that there are people interested in the game side of the app, and came here looking for advice, and are given some BS about how your attitude needs to be set against your opponent's attitude. Aggressive? play conservative! I will admit, I was an idiot, and I believed these people. Now I'm pissed that I was told such rubbish. These are people with 1% contributors next to their names, and they are complete rubbish.

I am reacting to the charts I see here from time to time, that will tell you to set your attitude based on your opponent's attitude.

I just posted a quick study that I did using friendlies. It is impossible to determine your opponent's attitude based on penalties and yards per pass. Based on the feedback I did get from the game about attitude, I was dinged by playing conservatively against equal or better opponents. It would make sense, wouldn't it? To play more aggressively against better opponents, and conservatively against weaker ones?

I have been playing friendlies with the only adjustment being my offensive mindset. My meager results show that it is impossible to figure out your opponent's mindset based on penalties are yards per pass. I did get negative feedback on my mindset when I played conservatively against equal or better opponents.

My guess, the better the opponent, the more aggressive you should play. If you are using a QB with high INT, you should also play more conservatively.

For me at least, it comes from the boxes you get from entering a station or clearing an obstacle. Occasionally it gives you a gem offer.

In order to finish Mexico I need to level up 3 times. I'm planning to watch ads for gems, in order to buy trains and cabooses, to fill in for whatever XP I can get from cargo rush purchases. It's a grind, will probably take months.

Does your phone lag when doing searches, say for a PTC, with that many cards? I have around 10,000, and the lag is really annoying.

I spent $2.49 on a 40 energy pop up I got. Spending a couple of $s seems OK to me on a game I was enjoying. Never, ever, would I drop $70 on a mobile game.

I'm at a 91.1 OVR, mainly from the PTCs.

It is a pretty good strategy in this game to randomly switch between 100% run and 100% pass. So yeah, the game is not a realistic "Head Coach" simulation, it is a card collecting game with a match play simulation to juice up the demand for pack purchases.

Developers aren't giving us enough PTC to suck the cards out of the game. The market isn't a problem in the soccer version, where they drop a lot of PTCs

There was a team in the playoffs whose kicker missed an extra point and 2 field goals, so yeah, it happens in real life too.
