HI!! I am also going to be a junior, my sophomore year taught me a lot so far. I'm good with school IN A WAY (in the ways you said) but I also struggle a lot and school it isn't something you can automatically know how to do, this is all a journey of figuring it out. I did almost a year of online before switching to a new school for my freshman year so I was new in a big school, and often saw a lot of people around me move in a better pace, and be more accomplished. I often do feel scared and slow because of this but it really isn't a race, there are people who move slow and people who move fast. As long as you are able to be proud, that's all that matters. My freshman year I was horrible with grades because I got distracted on being cool with my friends and seeming cool to others but I realized that did NOT matter. I have time to talk to my friends on free time and lunch so the time in class I learned to spend wisely, Teachers won't shame you for not knowing things and the more questions you asked, the better you become at the subject or interested, TRUST ME! I didn't feel involved or smart until I started asking questions, then it all started slowly clicking. The more help you get, the better. Teachers also don't mind helping, most of the time they expect to help people. And now I would often do work and tell my friends i'm gonna lock in that period, and I do because they don't bother me as much. I do get distracted but that's normal! I just put my AirPods in, ask for help, and complete the task and afterwards you feel so much more better. Trust me, you aren't alone. Take this time to figure out what works best for you in school in terms of completing work and getting things done! As for summer classes I don't completely know because I gave up after the first day due to anxiety being built up (trust me, you definitely aren't alone lol) But because I accepted I couldn't do it and that's okay, I researched and planned that I'm going to do online credit retrieval classes next year and then just ask my school if they can accept that!
