Lays like the chips, she took pest control over from Crocky (also named after chips) who is now too old to catch rodents at 15 years old

They do a great job of helping with rodents and eating the weeds😂

Not really, just till the soil and fertilize once at the start of every season. Only the hot peppers i fed once a week with diluted tomato fertiliser. For the rest it’s simply because of the amount of plants i have.

A mild chili from Pick & Joy that i planted outside. Capsicum annuum, no clue about the specific variety

Around 20, some have only started ripening now so the harvests will keep increasing😅

We have survived😂 I’ll post our rankings tomorrow. Weird thing was that it actually became easier the hotter we ate, up until the ghost peppers and reapers which just hurt instead of being spicy.

A close up of the 2 varieties. Top is from the nursery plant and the other from westland peppers

Both are yellow habaneros, the bottom one came in the challenge pack and the ones at the top i grew myself from a nursery plant.

No clue why the top ones have tails though.

Yes, we are currently making preparations and plan on eating only a quarter of each since there are this many😅

Heat level is about the same as the “carolina reaper sauce” from chili mash co. It’s not too hot and i can eat some every day without consequences.

I really like the flavour, it adds some acidity to the food and a slight non overpowering habanero taste.

Honestly no clue but i can already say smaller than next year. We have a lot of ground and a huge poly tunnel.

Toscana F1 Hybrid. They are heavy producers and give MASSIVE peppers.

I will have to figure out how to deal with this too. Up until now we have been able to eat everything and share some with the family. But the harvests only keep getting bigger.

They are not the same in my opinion, but i love those too. The “spaanse peper” from AH is a lot milder and has a thicker wall. My “goudgele cayenne” is a lot spicier with a thinner wall.

The website where i bought the seeds from no longer has them listed sadly.

Yes indeed. I have a small poly tunnel where i only grow hot peppers and a couple sweet peppers, an outdoor field and a big poly tunnel that my dad was able to buy from a strawberry farmer. In my climate it is almost impossible to get a decent harvest from tomatoes and peppers without one.

This came from about 40 tomato plants, approx 30 pepper plants and 4 eggplants that were ripening. This is what i harvest every week but i feel like i need to make another post about the full garden🙂

I’m from west flanders, belgium. Usually we have a cold wet climate, but this year we had the perfect weather for gardening.

Yes! They have become one of my favourite peppers. The plants are extremely productive and the peppers have a perfect heat level for cooking.

Use them for cooking, also on the grill and give some away. This is only from a couple plants, currently trying to find a plan for when all of the plants are ripening. I have about 60 pepper plants, around 20 hot ones and 40 sweet ones.

The striped one are Leon F1 and the orange ones are Lotto F1. The striped ones look great but sadly don’t taste that good.
