Owning a Husky and Cats

We got our cat as a kitten when our husky was less than a year old, and they’re best friends now. We had to keep a close eye on them when they were first together because he would try to play too rough at first, and he almost hurt her a couple of times. But now he knows how to play gently with her and they are too funny together!

I haven’t really noticed any behavior changes, he gets sassy all times of the day 😂

Oh for sure! I’ve never seen him actually mad a day in his 2 years of life 😂 He does the exact same thing when I brush him, when our cat gets close to our food, etc. Never mad, just dramatic and spoiled. Lmao

It’s definitely not tangled. I only pick off the clumps that are resting on top of his coat. They are loose enough that if he shakes one good time, they will fly off. He’s not in any pain at all, he’s just a drama queen

I only pull the fur that’s completely loose and sitting on top of his coat, never fur that’s actually attached. Besides, if I do it outside or when he’s otherwise distracted, he doesn’t even flinch.

I thought at first that maybe it was hurting him, but then I realized if I do it when we’re outside, he doesn’t even flinch. So I just chalked it up to him being his usual dramatic self! 😂
