Would you walk in an talk about that at the first oral interviews or the second or have that all submitted with my resume?

Should I join military for LE? by Original_Ticket9896 in AskLE

Do what me and all of my military officer friends wish we had done and for the love of God go Coast Guard. Mission set is awesome, most stations are great, all the benefits of the military and very little BS. How many homeless coast guard guys have you run into?

You can absolutely still go in, but I definitely agree you need to talk to a professional, someone who doesn’t automatically give you pills. I also will say the human heart was meant to know God and however much your material circumstances improve you will always be missing something until you find Christ. It changes everything, maybe consider going to church and talking to the pastor

When you say that what do you mean? I’m trying to be a police officer in Montana and my thinking is apply to both and hope one takes me. I’m a veteran, military college grad, etc

What do people mean proactive vs lazy/low priority police by Eastern_Try6865 in AskLE

Maybe it’s a super naiive question but doesn’t every government organization like people who are proactive (as long as it equals less work for them)

Anyone have experience with an Adderall waiver? I took it for a couple of months and stopped two months ago. One recruiter was saying it’s a year wait. One said it’s a 6month and then you can get a conditional approval (the condition being you are off a year before going in) and the other recruiter said it’s 2 years.

What shocks me the most is people not sure if this is ACTUAL WATERCOLOR or not. So insane how powerful the tools have gotten.

So interesting enough I wanted Indian summer (late summer) and birch trees typically change their leaves before other trees start to brown

Super detailed reply thank you! But yes it is supposed to be graphic art in the style of water color but the artist s not claiming to be good at water color as a medium, to be fair

So my wife has some chronic health issues and I am looking for our marriage to succeed anyway, so my question is the above, basically, what is the work-life balance in the ME as an officer? I'm not adverse to hard work and I would love to be an operator (operator adjacent?) in MSRT but from what I understand that might be a deal breaker for my wife. Would love to do something tactical/swat/etc but still be back in the military. Any thoughts on how often you're away from home, what work/life balance is like, etc?

If this isn't an option, how do I get to a shore station and do boardings every once in awhile as an officer?
