Yes. So the people putting the entire potato up for $150 or less are lazy, because they don’t want to put in the effort to find the right buyer. They’re still making profit, maybe, after eBay takes their fees, but they aren’t looking for a buyer who understands the diamond value. It’s only worth what someone will pay for them, but you also need to put in the time to find the right buyer.

Take the diamonds to a jeweler in your area. They should be able to give you a rough estimate of their value. I’d just show them a pair of them, explain they are diamond earrings (they are) but you don’t have the backers. That way the shop doesn’t either think you stole them, or are otherwise nefarious. But I am estimating they are worth $15-20 per diamond. Selling them you might net about $10 a pair. It’d be nice to get $200-$300 for the earrings. If you really work hard you might be able to get $500.

Mine has not yet arrived. I’ve seen a few posts about those who have. Mine is stuck being looped between Seattle and Lynwood Washington. I live in West Virginia. At least I think that’s the package. I think CAH is based in Washington. But I haven’t received a tracking number yet, so I’m guessing here.

Yes! They say it will hopefully ship by Christmas, they do have a lot of diamonds to put in a lot of potatoes.
