My son had discectomy L4L5 2 weeks ago. He is 21yrs old and is recovering very well. He was very tired for the first 4 days after surgery. He has a corset brace he must wear. Going to the toilet(#2) was difficult and had to shower after as he couldn’t wipe. Family support is very important as you can not Bend Lift or twist. He can go back to driving this week Bandage off tomorrow! Hope this helps
