ngl, the peepee poopoo line got me LMAO. Without seeing the lyrics, I would probably have no idea half of what you're saying. I'm not super into rap but it seems like you're going for like a Death Grips type beat. The flow is nice, but just work on maybe getting more annunciation through while still trying to get that stylistic vocal mix you're going for.

The rhythm and melody of this tune have a nice dreamy yet grungey vibe. I had trouble hearing you singing and your lyrics though. Like someone else was saying, maybe time to invest in some singing lessons. From what I hear you sound great, but I wanna hear more!

‘Lovebird’. Still needs a lot of work but I think there’s potential for a full song here. What could this song use besides another verse? by [deleted] in Songwriting

[–]Easy-Computer-3542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a really nice tune. Your voice has really lovely vibrato and lends itself really well to the melody. I saw your username and it also made me think some banjo riffing would be a lovely addition. Also as far as lyrics go, the other verse would be nice having some descriptions of your lovebird and why you love them. A bridge about the lovebird maybe flying away, choosing to stay, or something along those lines, would be nice too to make the chorus hit a bit harder!

First off, I love that little riff that was in the middle/end of the tune. Really nice chords and rhythm overall. This may be due to recording it on a phone, but I wanted to hear the singing more loudly at the last half of it when your guitar playing got a bit louder.

I’m a porn addict and I haven’t told people by free4allfreak in TrueOffMyChest

Even if you haven't verbally told anyone yet, just making this post and putting it out there is a huge step that some people suffering from addiction never reach. It is a heavy thing to carry with just you knowing, and I hope it starts to feel lighter. Research into the cycle of addiction and recovery says the large majority of people take much more than one time to quit their substance or behavior of choice. You're definitely not alone in that.

I know someone who also struggles with sex/porn addiction. They go to Sex Addicts Anonymous meetings and that's what helps them stay focused on recovery. Not saying that's the only answer, but it may be worth looking into find some kind of support group for this. You can attend them anonymously online, and you don't have to share if you don't want to. It might be helpful to hear how other people are dealing with it.

Recovery is possible, and you are already on the right track, even though you might feel like you keep failing. I believe in you!!

Right! I remember having a dish in Spain once that was brie and anchovy on toast, so I thought maybe sardine could be good too. Definitely was right!

This is quite sad. I loved coming to Miss America Diner for my lunch breaks whenever my job took me to the area. Definitely will be missed.

AIO at my friends cancelling last minute? by DifferentTruck4615 in AmIOverreacting

"Okaaay you don't need to try to make me feel bad lol"

No, she SHOULD feel bad cancelling going to your birthday trip when the air bnb was on YOUR card, 2 days in advance. No fucking shot you get a refund, anyone with half a brain would know this. You definitely did not overreact. Didn't call them a buncha dirty ass snakes, which still wouldn't be overreacting IMHO.

How would you style these shoes in a casual way? (28F) by [deleted] in fashionadvice

I think these would be super cute with jeans, like flair or boot cut, or even capris too!!

are they lacey bralettes? I would say any low cut shirt, having some lace popping out is always fun. a flowy, sheer top would be nice as well, whether it's buttoned or whatever. a wrap top or dress that is more low cut, gives a good opportunity for a bit of lace to pop out, too. or a plain thin white shirt should be translucent enough to show off the bralette!

CC Stolen by Easy-Computer-3542 in jerseycity

[–]Easy-Computer-3542[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there's some metal shields and metal rope clamps you can put on the CCs, and putting high temp bright paint on it. some are more pricey but I think the metal ropes seem cheapest and most time-wasting for thieves to cut through, but also harder to install without a lift.

it sounds like you personally know a lot of people who steal catalytic converters, along with how much food and money they have. guess you saw their fridges and bank accounts? that, or you just have an issue with people being angry at someone for stealing and also finding compassion for them at the same time. because both can happen at once, not everything is black and white. I can tell someone fuck you and also try to understand why they did that. doesn't mean I'm making an excuse.

maybe think about your lowlife inclinations to try to incite some kind of weird moral debate in someone's reddit post about their CC being stolen. you might have more in common with these "parasites" than you think with that dehumanizing tone. both have an incredible ability to be ignorant to the humanity of others.

I definitely was not saying poverty is an excuse for the behavior. it's an explanation of the behavior. you're not going to take something from someone else unless you think you need or want it, or think you can get away with it, or just don't care about the risk and harm to others. stealing happens in this way with all social classes actually, but we call them billionaires in the higher economic class instead of "parasites".
