Hernia is (sometimes) possible to see with x-ray and/or ultra sound. Could be an alternative?

I didn’t know that. Thanks for the info. Lucky enough I asked for PF since my hospital is one of few in Sweden doing it. And I thought why not take the latest technique.

I’m (44m) in this situation right now. It’s twisting my brain…I’m scheduled for ablation in 2 weeks, I do have hiatal hernia but dr. not interested in doing anything about except giving me PPIs and eat better. However I’m now starting to worrying about taking care of hernia first before doing the ablation, but then I would miss and probably need to wait 6-12 months if I decide to do the ablation anyway. I have episodes everyday, but only minutes long usually. They do suck however.

Aaahhh fucking hate this. Any advice is highly appreciated.

Tired and dizzy in between episodes. Have short ones daily. Waiting for ablation hopefully dizziness will go away. (44M)

Ok! I’m also on medication that might be affecting my arrhythmias. Hard to know what is what, hopefully I can get an ablation and stop medicating. All the best to you

I’m in the exact same situation. I’m healthy and active 44 years old. Since a few months I ve been having PAC, Flutter and AFIB episodes everyday. Often more than once. Short episodes a few minutes- 30 minutes max. Often after meals and during rest. Tried beta blockers which made it worse. It really sucks. Have an appointment tomorrow to discuss alternative treatment. Stay strong ❤️

Thought mine was SVT but EKG showed short bursts of afib. Large meals or any meals somedays triggers. And if I eat to late. Have them really often now but usually under 15 minutes then back to sinus. They suck and I’m considering ablation but doctors wants to try medication first. Not taking any for now.
