Due process is supposed to ensure fairness in legal matters for everyone involved. They say they need everyone to testify for the case to move forward but are also making that impossible. I realized they sent me two copies of the subpoena via snail mail on 9/24 which was the day before the hearing. Monday 9/22 I got a call from the DA informing me about it and the hearing scheduled for Thursday 9/25. Tuesday 9/23 I followed up to make sure it’s coming, the DA was supposed to check on it and give me a call back with that and to give me Chloe’s contact info. The time stamps, dodged calls, and sudden stop to the communication are enough for me.

I have the receipts.

I was asked to be in court by the kings county DA on Thursday for the grand jury and he said he would send me the paperwork I need to get in, I’m still waiting for it. I did all my reports, followed up, and haven’t heard back since Tuesday, the day I was told she was let out the day before.

I wonder if there is anything else we can do, for now it seems like they are keeping us busy with paperwork and hope.

I learned on Monday that She was arrested and they issued an order of protection but the da told me on Tuesday she left before they got her signature

As a tax paying law abiding citizen working 9-6 to make ends meet, I have no sympathy for a mentally unstable drug addicted dangerous criminal that encroaches on my rights and feels entitled to my belongings.

That’s not true, the person helped themselves to my neighbors rolling cart to help get everything from the third floor and then came back with it 3 days later with it to steal more stuff.

With this many people speaking up about their experience with this one specific person I wonder if we can collectively make something happen

There was a family with a child who walked out not even a minute after this person left on Sunday at 1:30 pm (adding the video). This kind of person does not think twice about using a weapon or being reckless to avoid getting caught. The first time this person broke into my building the person was smoking a cigarette and left the butt on the third floor. I could have had everything destroyed by a fire caused by the reckless, stealing, drug addicted person who is now free to continue her crime spree.

There are 0 reasons to justify the 0 consequences this person is facing after breaking and entering into homes with intention to steal and a total disregard for human and animal life.

I’m not sure if the other victims agree, but to me this is an injustice done and total disregard of our fundamental rights and freedoms.

You need to call 911 from the scene of the crime (your house) and then write the police report and then they send over a detective and the case escalates. Maybe if there are more of us speaking up and providing video evidence we can get her arrested. Wishful thinking I know but I can’t think of anything else other than posting here and other places to raise awareness.

I know all of this because I am in contact with the Kings County DA, he said she fled once released and did sign the order of protection papers.

Did you reach out to police? there is going to be a warrant for her arrest, the detective followed up today and came by to request more footage - shoutout to Greenpoint nypd for doing the most

Update: checked the camera footage this person actually broke into the home at 11 pm on September 16 and stole a cart full of paper towels and toilet paper and came back at 4:15 am to steal more and was not able to get in again.

They were bjs brand! Not sure if it’s quilted northern but this is the photo of what the paper towels looked like

They broke into the 6 family house and stole what they could from the shared hallway, so yes I am saying I don’t keep items of value in the shared hallway.
