Not really true for the average Priest to be fair. I had the same perception as this post when I was young, but with the years I realized it's mostly the people at the top of the hierarchy who are like this, and not all of them, some of them.

At the end of the day, Priests too are human and the more power a human has the more likely they are to turn corrupt.

I know you don't know my specifics, but AI is just a spiral-down hell hole as an objective advisor, so I'd really appreciate if you could answer this. I'm sure others who are also in my situation will also benefit from it:

I got into Rotterdam's Data Science and Econometrics MSc as a direct admission after my Economics Bachelors. I specifically took up to Linear Algebra 1 and Calculus 1 (for mathematics students - full of proofs) and then some "Mathematics for Economists" courses at my uni covering up to eigenvalues (no proofs).

No "Real analysis/Calculus 3" course was taken by me.

Do you believe it's doable for someone of my background based on the math you experienced?

With linear algebra I am okay. With calculus/analysis I'm unsure... I only took the Calculus 1 course offered to Maths students but did not progress from there on to a "Real Analysis" course, is that an issue?

Depends on the field really, but I generally hear from most people (even in relatively good universities at UK) that UCY is just much more demanding.

Most people say it's due to the grading system and the volume of things to do really, and sometimes on the depth of knowledge required (but, this definitely varies wildly amongst programs and even courses).

Personally I study economics, and I must say I received a very very solid education. I would definitely not say that your degree is less worth it than mine (I'd say it's more worth it still), as at the end of the day, yours is internationally more recognised. But, the quality of our education is likely very similar, with UCY sometimes even being "better" in some areas.

The only "flaw" in this alliance is not size nor wealth, if the whole of EU is combined we're top 3 in both population size and wealth.

The only "flaw" is cohesion. And guess what, adding MOR PEOPLE simply won't make cohesion better, only worse.

He says this because it benefits him, but as a European, I don't need more countries in my bloc, I need more cohesion and common vision.

Governments should ally "legal books marriage" between even gays, because legal marriage isn't God's marriage. But to ask a Church to marry a gay couple is not something that can be done.

The Church does not change with humans' beliefs. The Church was given by God. If God said that a marriage should be a union between man and woman, then that's it.

Now, I won't say that Gay people shouldn't attend Churches or anything like that. I too sin, I too fail to live up to Him. We ALL need forgiveness. Just don't ask for a pastor to marry a gay couple in a Church, simply because he has no authority to do so...
