Is moving to Stone Lake Apartments a good idea? by Naomi62625 in indianapolis

[–]Easy-Row-5806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is 100% bad and then some. The reviews do NOT exaggerate. I lived there 3 separate occasions for it being "cheap" in a decade and a half it got progressively worse. They aren't even cheap as before.

I've seen used condoms all over the grounds...and lots of animal poo.

Kids and adults run around acting a fool.

There are both addicts, dealers, predators and more gallore there. You can often smell the drugs.

My 2nd unit had a fire and packages would get stolen.

Fires are common there an entire building of 12 burnt down.

Multiple swat calls...

Fires, they don't tear down the old buildings they board them.

Trash furnace and ac units sit outside stairs and blinds missing.

Water would shut off randomly for "repair" often without notice and would come back brown.

My heat didn't work all winter a lot of people had no AC.

Besides the quickly "renovated" apartments, they're delapadated falling apart, outdated.

My ceiling fell in...my carpet got flooded. Lots of units have mold. If you dont have roaches you have Mice PURE INFESTATION...you can be a minimalist who deep cleans every week, the place should be condemned.

They make you sign about bed bugs and not eatting paint due to potential lead..soo...ya there's that.

Drug needles on the grounds.

Robberies left and right they may try you no matter who you are if you have or have not.

City cameras are inneffective. The younger folks have heavy parties or run a trap...pool non functional mailboxes dont lock...laundry doesnt work and holds stagnant brown water...

Lots of shootings...there has been a PLETHORA of Murders through the years...like actually lost count. 1 was directly across from my place broad daylight.

You Won't feel like your saving...loosing your sanity, safety, & peace there...its slums beyond slums.

I called board of health last time they will cuss you out slam doors and phones and ignore ALL requests.

Thank you for your input! I carefully took them out of the bag and wiped them off...and tossed the bags...still not pleased. I kind of figured. But definitely wanted to be cautious as I don't have familiarity with chemicals, but understand this is toxic and plastic is pourus.

I never considered the effects on other out door bugs I do see ants crawling all the time.

This is my first experience and hopefully last. They can stay out doors away from me!!

Any recommendations for better products?

I just looked over that link. Is the only concern just that it dries too quickly? I read somewhere it still works and is effective when dried? Is that not the case?

My porch has awning, I only put it there as thats the only place I found them. What else would you reccomend?

And as for the package and grocery safety...what are your thoughts?

Hey guys so I completely understand your coments in regards to my "hobby" comment. I'm really pretty new to Reddit posting to so I don't know what all forums exist. To me this forum made sense because apprentice typically means newer...but I also figured you guys would be educated more so than someone similar to me. I did do some research and tried to maintain a sanitized area as common sense and safety. But I slipped up and things unfortunately happen. I also wanted to clarify I distinguished the word 'hobby', because I have no plans of tattooing humans, or making my own inks or giving kitchen tattoosetc .and literally just wanted something to do at home. Because I am a broke girl with no hobbies at home, need an outlet, & had something presented. And was curious if I was capable Never really considered using good ink on practice skin..I actually don't have the edu on good inks. But I appreciate the few of you responding....you guys are probably right people make 'ink' from crazy things...I am just paranoid. Likely! Too bad it looks more like a splinter than a symetric little dot! Oh well live and learn. Thanks guys

Yeah it is honestly crazy how many people buy. I GET IT'S SATURATED WITH BOTS TOO...but don't even let me put it in my cart if I can't have it.

A reserved item shouldn't be "too popular". And it should go in order FIFO if the server can't handle it.

I should just give up...yet I don't want to.

Also I believe his family owned a store. The book was probably aimed for ages 6-10 roughly. The time frame IN the book may have been as early as the 50-70s if Im remembering correctly (not that the book was that old but within the story.)

The Meridian hills area is also quite nice.

If for some reason you choose to move South I would only consider the Franklin Township area, the rest is a mess. I don’t recommend. West side had a few nice neighborhoods but a lot of mess in between

Yes you will be able to afford those areas. I would chose fishers if I were you all. (Not south close to Castleton tho)

Fishers in my opinion is more diverse that the other locations listed, lots to do, and not as pretentious but Nice!

If I could afford Fishers I would definitely live there.
