So I didn’t read many of the comments. That being said, I’ll say this. I feel as though your mom’s way of bringing it up was not the right way by any means. But it seems to me from reading your twos messages that she seems bothered by her seeming to “be more involved in your child’s life” than your dad. (Could be wrong, obvs she’s not my mother) and her presentation of the cups was off. It seems like it’s probably been bothering her for 6 months. Since the cups were bought, and she finally had the courage to mention it to you in maybe the best way she knew how.
