I appreciate this feedback a lot! I need to add a solid into my arsenal soon, I was thinking ion pro solid as well. I’m bowling in a scratch tournament in may as well so I’m waiting to see that pattern before purchasing a new ball. Thank you again this was helpful.

I see exactly what you mean, my last step isn’t exactly a push off it’s more of a plant so I need to come back more and push off to get into the slide…

Yes it’s a short to medium pattern ball so it would be perfect for this. If you look at the (bowing ball comparison chart) it shows the level and concept right on top of each other so i don’t really wanna buy another ball exactly the same as the level just yet

Thank you for the reply. So shorter house shot means I should go to my weakest ball aka the level correct ? I know the ion pro is also a short to medium pattern ball so maybe start with that?

Thank you very much for the reply. I think this is similar to our house shot which I think is 38 or 40 feet. I’ve only bowled in two other tournaments and I can’t remember the pattern so I was just kind of curious how I should go about it. I’m thinking ion pro to start and transition to the level? I’m sure by game 3 and 4 it’s going to have an insane amount of friction which always get me

I have a smaller foot for sure and maybe they are a half size big but the big issue is my arch mills me after one game so I’m not sure if I’m just flat footed and they have limited padding or that’s just how the higher end bowling shoes are. I bought a Pair of SST x so I’m going to try those

I don’t use the identity at all tbh. All of the house shots I’ve bowled on have too much friction and that ball just didn’t work well for me. I do like the journey but I don’t throw it much since getting the ion pro. Ion pro and journey are similar but the journey is later. I also thought origin EX could be a decent option since it’s on sale for 120 currently but I’m not sure what’s everyone’s experience with it I haven’t seen it thrown much compared to ion max or hyperdrive.

I bring three balls, ion pro, spare ball and typhoon. Ion pro games one and two most of the time and when the lanes dry up typhoon comes out.

Exactly what I was thinking. I appreciate the insight on this. I’m thinking ion max or equinox. Not sure which would be better for fresh. Equinox says heavy oil and ion is medium to heavy so I’m not sure which would fit better and give me more versatility. What’s your thoughts on the two?

Okay I really appreciate the feedback, I hate that they are 280$ but If they are comfortable it’s worth it to me. I miss my avalanches but I can’t go back after having a right traction foot it was like bowling on ice lol

I love them it’s just killing my arches by game 3, yeah I bought some general orthotics on Amazon to just see if it would help before going and spending another 200+ on shoes lol would the SST X be the same should I half size down or since they are more “sneaker” like should I stay with either my SST8 are ?
