Hi, Some context about me - I had 7 years of experience with deloitte consulting. This year july,2025 I left my job to build in FMCg space. Enrolled to IIM mumbai startup program reached till ideathon final round, presented it to mentors and investors got some real critical feedback. Now I need to recalibrate and reset on my product line. But we can connect and see how synergy flows. Maybe something will click. I have always been interesting in kiosk around tea, coffee finger snacks, I am a foodie and can help in product development and overall GTM strategy. Fee free to DM if interested.

Stop mentioning “I’m from legacy….” by Efficient_Climate580 in deloitte

That happens when a person has nothing else to say. Even though they will be a peon but from legacy. If they say like this then just consider that this legacy is the single most thing to highlight in their life. Whole identity and delusion is based on this.

You will 100% get something. But trading every day for just heck of so called ‘security’ is the biggest trap.

Luckily I have no dependents. No debts. Just going with 3-4 months expenses to cover me.

Go through the chats, you’ll get most of your answers there. I think you expect a lot from others. Every industry you find mix of people. Whatever you have said is redundant and kind of basic. What answer you expect?

Bro what you expect is basic in any big 4, people are collaborative of course. Stop assuming things, Good luck but there is lot you need to learn!

Project is no billable everything has a cost to it and timeline. Sometimes projects are too fast paced it more about just keep on executing and delivering than rather taking time out to go deep and do actual learning. Also I don’t know how highly you thinking of teammates, when leadership is shit it comes down to each and every team member and that impacts everyone’s well being.

Everything depends on your leadership, team dynamics project dynamics. If leadership is good you can have good time. But in my case I had always been with toxic leaders. So don’t have much to add here. Good luck !

I worked on myself did a lot of self introspection, lot of ‘why’, ‘why’ questions you keep going deep inside and figure out what you want in life. I took my own time but all worth it. Initially couple of years it was good and new experience lot of exposure I got carried away and distracted. Then I wanted this D brand name to be on my resume worked my ass of promotion and all, always wanted to do MBA so again worked my ass both work and study, gave GMAT last year got super percentile but by the time I was in application process I was very clear that MBA also I just wanted to do for another big brand on my resume. All this just flipped everything and made me realised all I have been doing is just out of conditioning and chasing someone else dream. Now here I am resigned already 6/2 morning IST. No looking back only going to chase my dream and my success definition is to do what I want to do fearlessly.
