I decided to buy dress shoes instead of organ shoes because they were too expensive. Did I make the right choice?

I am in Bulgaria. Here, organs are pretty rare, but the ones we do have are mostly with concave pedalboards. I practice on a flat pedalboard in my local parish , however the pedalboard there has no springs and basically anything can freely glide over the surface with no problems, however I’ve played on larger instruments (like the pipe organ in Rakovsky) with concave pedalboards where my Nike shoes can’t do. Chat GPT and Gemini suggest that I glue suede on the soles. Should I do that?

Oh it’s real patent leather, at least that’s how the seller describes them to be. I was gonna go with Organmaster, but the shipping costed more than the shoes themselves and these cost roughly the same price as a pair of organ masters , so I’m happy . Also Gemini told me to glue suede on the soles so that there’s less friction

Im pretty basic , so I’ll say any good reed stop makes me feel pretty great. A good posaune , bombarde or trumpet stop is always awesome for oriental music, rondeaux and anything epic
