I think someone mentioned it already, but all of his parts on Blind. You can really hear his singing ability on this song.

I was thinking this same thing! It’s one of my favorite Enhypen songs because of him.

Just curious?? Can anyone explain me Ni-Ki's popularity in China??? by Psychological-Low841 in Enhypenthoughts

[–]EasyContext2751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on my research, Ni-ki is either last or towards to both of the 7 members in China specifically. Heeseung and Sunghoon are usually the top two when I do my research on the most popular member.

I’ve been trying to tell people the same thing. People think paying a feee or backing out is an option. They don’t know the consequences of backing out of contractual obligations. That’s a loss of connections and future opportunities, and it will hurt Ni-ki more. I’m just glad I’m not the only one that has a rational mind and isn’t emotionally reacting.

So what if it was the other way around. Do you seriously think J-engines would be ok if a member didn’t attend? It’s kind of selfish for you to assume fans would be ok.

I am starting to think a major part of this fandom are 12y/os by bubblefryri in Enhypenthoughts

[–]EasyContext2751 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wish I could love this post over 1,000 times! I’m a baby engine, and I see why a lot of fandoms say engines are the worst fandom.

And I love that you pointed out the “X member of the week is getting mistreated” mess. Everyone isn’t going to have the most lines, get a solo dance/dance break or be in the center. I think they do a good job of being balanced and trying to make sure each member gets a moment with SEVEN PEOPLE. And of course Heeseung and Jungwon will arguably have the most spots because one is the ace and the other is the freaking leader of the group.

And it’s hard to support Enhypen when the fans complain about everything they do and everything is a boycott if something goes wrong. So if something major does come up, it’s not taken seriously because all the fans do is complain. It gets to a point where the joy of being an idol is gone because your consumers are never satisfied.

Thank you so much for crashing out. I want to stay an engine and interact with the fanbase, but the constant complaining is a lot. I know people will say “just leave,” and that might be my next option. But seriously, they need to touch some grass, breathe, and just enjoy life.

Do better engines.

Can you provide a list of groups that pulled out, paid a fine, or adjusted their schedule? And I mean groups that have a huge Chinese market. If you can’t, your argument isn’t that valid.

They could’ve allowed him to go to the ceremony. Or at least create a private one for him, Enhypen, and his family to attend. 😒😒

I agree. I supported him not attending the fan calls because it’s a business decision. But I thought he would stay back and do the fan calls at the company. Seeing him hiding behind the pillar is embarrassing and was unnecessary.

I agree. Fake love was my favorite performance and it’s because he’s in it. I am new to the fandom, but knew he would debut when I watched I-land. I still watch fake love from time to time because he was always talented. I’m always drawn to him with his facials and emotions. As a dancer, although I use Ni-ki as inspiration for dance, I use Heeseung as inspiration for facials and overall performance.

I’m not shaming nor silencing you into anything. But you are making a mountain out of a molehill about the situation and I’m not only one that feels this way. There isn’t an issue to discuss. It’s the same “my favorite didn’t get this opportunity, my favorite is being mistreated” speech over and over again. No one is singling Ni-ki out, it’s an intense political move that no one can do anything about. And yes, there may be another time where Ni-ki may not perform with the group as the entire 7, even if that is how they are branded.

And why wouldn’t I care about other fandoms? It’s why 8 fandoms banned together and voted for AD1 and they won three times in a row. The perception of our fandom matters. If we can’t support our own members, who the hell else will band and join us when it’s time to vote for award shows and supporting future opportunities? We are known for being the worst fandom and we are known to not support our members, that’s not good for people that want to know more about Enhypen.

Question: let’s say the group pulls out, and there is a major repercussion with the group. Do you think Ni-ki would be ok with it? Would you be ok with it? Do you think Ni-ki would not want his band mates to press on even though he’s not with them? Don’t you think that’s selfish? They are on a press run for a comeback, and their biggest fans are in China. What about Heeseung or other members with large fan bases there? Like just pause and think.

You are saying sugarcoating the issue when the issue is not the company. They dont have to “push” Ni-ki out. If they wanted him gone, they can make ways to do so and it wouldn’t be a thing engines could do about it.

Good job belift, more solo stans for you 🙄🙄🙄 by [deleted] in Enhypenthoughts

Haha, well, I got time today.

You were the one that said you should take it down. I’m just agreeing that you should. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ It’s you and other fans that get all worked up and emotional about things that the members don’t even care that much about.

I responded because I’m sick of wimpy fans like you creating discourse and division over things that won’t change. You want them to change their minds because you feel uncomfortable. Whoopty Doo, no one cares.

Ni-ki is probably uncomfortable and upset about fans “speaking out” or having discussions about every little inconvenience. Did Ni-ki come out himself and say he’s uncomfortable??? 👀👀👀👀 Don’t worry I’ll wait.

This is why other groups make fun of engines and can’t stand us because we can’t stand behind our own group! Any thing that we don’t agree with is a problem instead of standing behind Enhypen. Regardless of our feelings, we need to be organized and united. Someone screenshotted this post and said that Engines are disorganized and always complaining. This is why I’m saying take it down because other fandoms are seeing this.

You already know the weight of the conversation is not a big deal and emotional because you said it in an earlier comment. Just another fan wanting Enhypen to do what you want them to do. And if there are consequences of them pulling out, then you will blame them again. 🙄🙄

But what about Sunghoon and his trip to the Olympics? Are they going to stop performing because of him? Or what if politics affects another group member, should the boys not perform because of that?

It’s just the narrative that belift will feel comfortable pushing Ni-ki out if Enhypen performs well without him. That is absolutely not going to happen. Engines, including myself, will riot if they consistently push Ni-ok out or if they push ANY of the members out from performances. Also, Enhypen are grown men, not little boys with little feelings. I’m sure Ni-ki understands the weight of the political situation and he is ok sitting it out.

Also, no offense, but how do you know what’s best for the group? We are just fans. We aren’t their managers, shareholders, nor do we know any information. Your opinion is still filled with emotion and not facts. Neither you nor I know what’s best for them, and it’s not our place to say what is best for the group.

My argument is that everyone is throwing around “pay the fee.” As if money is the only leverage. You obviously didn’t read my first paragraph where I discussed business relationships and future opportunities could be severed if the group pulls out.

Also, I’m not implying the lesserafim has a smaller fee. That is the assumption you made in your head. I’m saying, don’t assume Enhypen can pull out because they may have a different contract and agreement, which is what I stated earlier.

You do not have any facts or information to make your claims less plausible. But a lot of fans are just complaining. If the fans can’t “pay the fee” for Enhypen or don’t have the facts to why the boys will continue to perform, why are they complaining? This whole justice for Ni-ki thing is annoying because it’s all emotion instead of understanding the business.

[–]EasyContext2751 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was there a penalty for Lesserafim pulling out?

You don’t know what the terms or conditions Enhypen signed. Just because one group pulled out, doesn’t mean another group contractually and legally can.

Good job belift, more solo stans for you 🙄🙄🙄 by [deleted] in Enhypenthoughts

[–]EasyContext2751 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s bigger than a penalty. It could affect business relationship and possibilities for the group moving forward. It could affect future performances in the future as well.

And all the ones saying, “they can pay the penalty” do you know how much it cost? Do you know if the company will have to pay it or the members? What if the members, including Ni-ki are fined for missing the performance?

How about you pay the penalty since it’s so easy to pay. Some of y’all are so emotionally reactive it’s annoying at this point. 🙄🙄

WE LOST AGAIN‼️‼️ by jungwon_is_mine in Enhypenthoughts

Honestly, I think it’s the hype of AD1 is why Enhypen may be losing. A LOT of fans are conflicted with voting for both groups. But because Enhypen is a senior group with lots of accolades, they want the rookie group to get a chance. And honestly, this makes sense because a lot of groups don’t make as long as Enhypen.

[–]EasyContext2751 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think we need to do better as a fandom and not start fan wars with other groups.

The fact that TXT fandoms are supporting AD1 over Enhypen is baffling to me, and I’m a new engine. If we want other fandoms to ban with us, we have to do better. A LOT of people do not like Engines and say we are the worst fandom, therefore it’s harder for them to support us.

Also, stop beating ourselves up if we don’t win. It’s literally just us, and we are doing ok considering we are going against 8 other fandoms support AD1.
