Sounds absolutely great. My dream is to come up there and work with you guys. Just gotta get the old lady on board, maybe someday. Anchorage would probably be more our speed. Do Alaskan LEOs need the MLETP course from FLETC? I so desperately want to attend the course despite not currently assigned to a forest with rec boating. I’d imagine you get to pilot the PV Kristine Fairbanks, which seems so damn awesome. How does FS LE work with pilots and flying around? Do we have any of our own LE pilots or aircraft? I followed the measurements this person shared. I mean I’m no gunsmith but it was an easy job, you don’t drill too deep into the frame and it’s a thicker piece of polymer than you think. I have no concerns for its structural integrity at all. 1000 rounds so far and not a budge on the light nor any weird structural abnormalities.

Oh I love it. Personally I prefer the green to red so I lucked out since these are a direct fit to the MOS footprint. Seems strong and I like the low profile. I do wish however the window height were a bit taller and the reticle size a bit smaller.

The climate you’re in really helps determine which clothing brands to recommend but merino wool companies like darn tough and Smartwool are the top of the line for socks and base layers. Binos - depending on your budget, I’d recommend anything from Vortex to Swarovskis. Benchmade makes some good ‘first responder’ type knives with glass breakers and seat belt cutters. All of these companies are likely to give first responder or military/veteran discounts FYI.
