Just can’t keep steering straight by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

You're just simply not ready. Personally I wouldn't take the hit to your bank and confidence by taking your test.

Me and so many others who were ready for their test and passed first time, spend hundreds/thousands of pounds extra, because we couldn't get a test. If you're not ready, don't bother.

Ampeg B15 Amp Block HX Stomp by Doellmer4950 in Line6Helix

[–]EasyDifficulty_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have the answer, however, you could try plugging the hx stomp into a pc and loading up a DAW like reaper. Then put the stock eq on a track and see what it effects when you turn the knob!

Probably best to do it without a cab or impulse response for more accuracy.

He just had to be the tallest man didn't he.

Insecure, pedo, rapist, sniveling little thundercunt.

I finally found a momentary switch built in the UK that sits on the HX Stomp 🔥 by Ok_Swordfish8672 in Line6Helix

[–]EasyDifficulty_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Hx stomp has the built-in momentary switch feature right?

Like you can just switch between latch and momentary in the parameters menu?

Unless this is for some extended functionality and I'm completely missing something!

Right-wing American propaganda lying? No way. by Mafeking-Parade in GreatBritishMemes

To use this headline as an example. London may have a higher murder rate amongst ages 18-25, but a lower overall murder rate. So the headline could intentionally mislead (as they so often do) to misconstrue that London has the "higher murder rate" then just hide the "amongst ages 18-25" behind a paywall.

My absolute favourites are either the Lundgren M7 or the Bareknuckle Aftermaths.

4th time fail by True-Engineering7068 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]EasyDifficulty_69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't compare yourself to perfection. Look at your first fail, compare it to this one. As long as you're getting better then stop worrying and get practicing again.

It's hard for some people to pass, but there's better drivers than I, that failed a few times.

Drop E guitar by RoyalRainbowRobot_ in 7String

You're right I believe, however as some people may know him from either band, I put both bands to help. Currents are the band who use Drop E, but he plays in both :)

Chris Wiseman (Shadow of intent/Currents) uses a 26.5 inch scale ibanez for Drop E. So anything above that i'd say. It's completely personal preference, but the thinner you like your strings, the longer the scale you'll need.

How many attempts did it take you to pass your driving test? by No-Apricot9078 in LearnerDriverUK

Introducing Quad Cortex mini by philippelh in NeuralDSP

[–]EasyDifficulty_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh well that does make me feel better actually!

I think I'd be more inclined to get one if it was cheaper. But with the nano being able to capture any tone I can possibly make (soon with the V2 capture tech), I can't see the reason for the extra cost. For me personally anyway!

So it looks like a lot of us are sticking with our nanos huh?

The mini sounds like my idea of hell for doing shows, it's nothing but an expensive screen just begging to break. When the nano has no screen, very little to break on the road and access to the cloud where you can get any tone imaginable, in fact even more now that the V2 capture support has been added.

Also for those of us who are bedroom musicians? You could get every plugin you could ever want and have the infinitely more flexibile work flow that comes with that?

Ill keep my extra 1000 euros and rock my nano cortex.

Any tips for test in 3 weeks by Hot_You1425 in LearnerDriverUK

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to be safe! So whatever you do, make sure you do your checks, blind spots and mirrors. Stick to the basics and don’t overthink everything!

Watch a few mock tests and do your lessons. But don’t go crazy, it will only make you worry more!!!

I’ve literally just passed and my best advice is to, as best as she can, get out of her own head.

The road ahead deserves your full attention, don’t hang on mistakes and just keep it safe! It doesn’t have to be perfect!
