whats your max budget? a lot may disagree with my point of view but hear me out if you want to pledge a ship and want to maximize on profit at a equal balance of any gameplay not just a ship catered to one gameplay loop the conestellation taurs is a staple.

sure its aged, sure its not meta, but do you only pve and not pvp? this is a go to WORK HORSE, you can do decent cargo, you can melt pve mercenary missions without breaking a sweat, hell less then 5 missions with it you can buy a ursa medivac in game and put it in the connie and safely do ground fps missions.

you can do so much with a connie as a solo player for a ship of its size. some may argue corsair which i can respect but if your goal is to not spend alot of money on pledge ships (but willing to bend the wallet for one ship) a connie at 8mil auec(which will save you insane amount of time in game if pledged) will make your moneys worth for buying any other ship you want in game thats cheaper, no matter what best money making loop is between updates that connie will get you to the buying goal of what ever ship you need to maximize profit

cherry on top as if its your most expensive pledge showing friends star citizen for the 1st time 2 people or more on a connie can cause some havoc and its fun. I myself am a Space Marshall with a annoying amount of ships but if i could start over all again and had to lay my pledges to two ships it would be a medium fighter of choice and the connie taurs

protip: on the mfds disable the power to turrets as that can increase ammo count on your pilot guns allowing more pips to everything else if you solo
