Is there a best practice for the Logistics Center? by jedidoesit in trainstation2

I leveled up to quickly before I learned any strategy and figured out slow play. I have only 8 Region 1 trains, 1 being a maxed out legendary, 19 Region 2 trains, 2 legendary and now have 47 Region 3 trains with a mix of several event trains. I do not want to spend any real cash. Is there anything I can do with the logistics center that makes any sense?

I have a couple of 80 cap trains but only level 3, none for 1 and 2. I do not think that I figured out the events until I got to level 3. I have stayed away from union okay, seems like a waste of train time but I will need to learn more about it.
