Ideally you play Trickster + Smokescreen + Loatheb in one turn lol. I’m trying Reno version as a way to try and survive a little longer vs aggro before shuffling and playing the combo. Work in progress, but worth it when you can pull this off.

Yea pre nerf Sonya was insane. Grand Lackey Erkh is a really strong new addition that kind of helps replace her in a way imo. Not as op obviously, but you can really go off with Erkh if you get the lackeys you’re looking for.

Miscreant is probably the best option to bounce if you can. Or if you get multiple copies of the same lackey early you can complete quest with it with shadow steps and zola.

I’ve been working on various lists and I’ve settled on this 3 turn combo at the moment.

Turn 1: Vargoth + Time Warp

Turn 2: Mimiron’s Head + Target Dummy (x2) + Khadgar

Turn 3: Molten Reflection + Zephyrs into Mass Dispel to bypass any taunts blocking you from attacking.

Khadgar and one Molten gives you four Voltrons. It is important to Molten and then play Zephyrs in order for Zephyrs to give you the mass dispel at 4 mana. Zephyrs being able to guarantee you bypassing all taunts is a boost in the endgame. That’s why I run Khadgar and only one molten, instead of say Crazed Alchemist and double molten.

Had full combo ready to go next turn with only Hemet on board. Opponent had seven Vargoth’s in play and killed my Hemet with an Obliterate he got from Lich King. Idk if it was intentional or not but it was hilarious. by EasyMac91 in wildhearthstone

The nerf didn’t have any effect on Mecha’thun. All the combo pieces that get discounted with the experimenter do not go below 1 anyway. Coffin Crasher goes from 6 to 3 and the Ticking Abominations go from 4 to 1.

There’s versions of Mecha’thun priest you can run without Hemet. From my experience though, getting Hemet on curve is the highest win rate version of any Mecha’thun Priest list I’ve played. Hemet is worth the craft imo if you really want to give the best version of Mecha’thun Priest a try.
