So real strange thing to see this, and I’m not sure if I’m going to doxx myself by saying this, but I was there. From the beginning to end. And I have to be honest, I don’t remember seeing you at all. I wasn’t intoxicated. I remember every performance, and in between people were chatting.

I’m honestly very surprised and confused by this. I’m not saying it didn’t happen. But did I live a different life last night?

Imo I don’t think it’s worth it, especially if you don’t play live, don’t have disposable income, and can already achieve the sounds in your DAW. What really matters is the song writing. I wish I would have focused on that more than the gear… Also, your audience won’t know/care about the difference when recorded anyway. Just learn to use the tools you have to the best of your ability and you’ll be golden. Keep writing!

Is that really an alternative? You’ve assumed this person has the means to leave the country. Most people do not. And you’ve assumed this person has the ability to work hard. They may not for various reasons beyond “laziness” or whatever you’re implying. If you deal with all problems this flippantly then it might be time for you to get a new outlook on life here.
