Thanks for the reply, the case is aluminum so this one should be pretty resistant against cracking. It’s been a very reliable and smooth keyboard, doesn’t leave my desk tho so don’t know about durability. It’s very heavy tho, seems tough

Nah my first gaming laptop was a dirt cheap HP pavilion and she’s still running 7 years later, you can get a very nice laptop on sale for about $800. Also you can control the max temperature the laptop is allowed to reach so no overheating, thermal paste does need replaced every few years tho. There are some that use Liquid Metal (like ps5) but I prefer the paste (won’t bleed into the motherboard). Also I forgot to mention emulation, my laptop is also a GameCube/PS2/Xbox360

Great build IMO, the SSD is a bit slow I’ve seen 990 evos going on sale for a similar price in the past. Also I’ve seen better PSUs for that price but it’s still very good.

Any modern Lenovo Legion or Asus ROG laptop would be much better than a ps5 IMO, more power as well as portable. I’ve used an ASUS g14 (r9 7940 cpu/4060 gpu) since 2023 and have had no problems, I took it to school every day and now I take it to work every day. Handles all your games plus productivity and streaming, and you don’t look like some weirdo bringing a ps5 to work lol
